Nathan grew up in Durham, NC where he excelled in soccer and found a passion for stage performance. Though an avid Duke fan, Nathan chose to attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where he majored in Math. Nathan was very active in campus life, including in the theater department. Post-graduation, Nathan decided to pursue his “hobby” of doing theater professionally–working at small theaters in small towns, to larger theaters in larger towns, and eventually to New York City, where he performed for many years in hit shows including Jersey Boys and Beautiful, the Carole King Musical. Nathan also has been seen on TV in such shows as Blue Bloods, Law and Order: SVU, and The Blacklist. True to his “everyman” personae, Nathan does stagehand work for multiple Broadway productions, keeps a busy concert performing schedule, and finds time to coach both his sons’ and his local high school girls’ soccer teams.
